Install tuner WITHOUT applying tune...
So, is it possible? All I want to do is get everything setup and "ready" so when my exhaust comes in I can apply the tune and then swap hard parts out. I would like to get my stock tune saved on my computer and thrown into my network drive. My time is limited because of work and I am just trying to be more efficient with my little free time.
Thank you guys!

You can use the DRD MM3 to save your stock file. You can then leave it on stock with the tuner installed until you get time to do the exhaust.

Awesome! Thank you for that. Yes, I figured it made sense to do it that way too, but hey, I was wrong once before.... it was a Wednesday... LOL!
While it's still in "stock mode" will all the PID's work as well?
Thank you Diesel Freak!

You’re welcome. Yes they should as long as your obd connector is plugged in.

Re: Install tuner WITHOUT applying tune...
Got everything wired up and the unit fired right up. I went ahead and copied my stock file and was hoping I would be able to turn off that dang TPMS light because I am a normal person and don't ever run 80 psi in my tires. I am guessing that the TPMS threshold feature will become available once I actually apply the tune? Other than that, no problems or worries.
Thank you for the help and advice!

I’m not sure on that. Who did you get your tuning from?

Re: Install tuner WITHOUT applying tune...
Ray did the tune... I only got the 30hp tune. I thought that all that was just part of the stock software.

The only options I have under ECM Tuning are DTC and ECM. The ABS and TPMS categories are not there...
