I am posting a video of my newly acquired 1999 Dodge Ram 2500. There seems to be some blow-by coming out of the vent tube. Nothing comes out of the dipstick or the oil cap. New to these trucks, and I am concerned with this. Could anyone please tell me if this is acceptable or normal on these trucks? I understand the crankcase has got to vent but didn't think it would be seen this much. Engine has low miles (around 130k).

Looks normal to me.
What is the outside temperature during this video?
If it's cold, it's like blowing hot air out of your mouth.
Just hot air coming out and not necessarily oil vapor.
Looks pretty normal. Is the end of the tube damp with oil? Or is it soaking wet with a bunch of dripsQuote:

This is the solution they use on the Fords with the bad injectors. Us Cummins guys are blessed with better motors. But even they have their moment. Hopefully, it will free up those rings.
