Re: Bumpers for your truck?
Just put a fresh coat on mine today.
It’s similar to Ranch Hand style but don’t have a tag.
Got it on CL a while back.
It is heavy and bulky but will have no problem shoving whatever comes in front of me out of the way.
Rear I got at a later date but matches.

@TexNeck Have you had/heard of any issues with the front end and having these heavy bumpers?

It really depends on what you are doing with the truck IMO. I personally have not had an issue with my 06 or 13 running full replacements. They weigh about 250#. I use mine on pavement and dirt/gravel roads that are pretty well maintained.
You will lose some fuel mileage due to loss of air dam and extra weight.
If you off-road or use your truck on unfinished construction pads etc then I would say it will be hard on your front end parts due to the extra weight and momentum from navigating.
The extra protection and piece of mind from deer/other traffic/ and small things like shopping carts make it worth it to me to have it.
I have seen several stories and have a good friend who had a replacement Iron Cross on the front of his Tundra. He was hit head on by a driver crossing yellow line on 55mph 2 lane road (they were both about at speed besides the split second to hit brakes) he walked away without a scratch.
Mostly the grace of God buy I am sure the bumper was part of the miracle.
Re: Bumpers For Your Truck?
My 13 has the intercooler exposed a bit- I’ve got a sheet of expanded metal I was planning on using for making A skid plate/protect from oversize debris but no issues over the past couple years
Re: Bumpers for your truck?
@TexNeck yea I use mine to haul horses and hay so i guess the extra peace of mind may be worth it.
I mainly do highway with some in fields but not much.
Re: Bumpers For Your Truck?
I went go rhino and never had an issue.
Pulled my truck and 24ft trailer out by the winch mounted in it, never had a temperature issue and it looked good.
I will see what pictures I have of it before the accident.
I had it on there 2 years.
