Re: Reliability questions
I have been running just a race pipe the whole time. I get no drone at all driving unloaded. Every now and then I get some pulling the camper but it goes away as soon as I shift to a lower gear.

Still compiling more info for when i pull the trigger on a delete and tune from DRD. So i'm pretty set on their tuning. Will drone be pretty bad with the race pipe? Don't laugh, but I drive for Lyft for some extra play money. Also I follow some rather unfriendly cummins groups on facebook and I see horror stories on their blown engines and transmissions and it makes me not want to tune my truck. I tend to be pretty easy on my truck though, I know it won't get up and fly like a car LOL. How long do you guys think the stock clutch will last on the 30hp tune if I drive pretty conservatively? I plan on upgrading later down the road, but i've gotta budget and do everything in stages LOL. Thanks guys!
Rays tunes and his tuning abilities with the MM3 are hands down the best in the buisness your truck will thank you for deleting all the pollution control BS crapola and run 100% better as far as drone I am running the 5” FloPro TBE with only the first section of pipe connected to the turbo and it sounds Awesome and Amazing even when you open it up it really isn’t to loud and really no drone :o

Hey bud! Congrats on wanting to go with Mr. Ray's tunes as he is a master at his craft. The drone won't be bad for you but the passenger it may be. If it is bad no worries, you can always purchase a muffler and place it right after the down pipe. This will usually eliminate it enough to be happy with the sound.
How does lyft do for you? Any good extra income? The wife has thought about this is why im asking and hey why not make it a family adventure.
The tunes are not what makes things break. It's the persons right foot. Alot of folks hear safe tuning and think they can romp on it and floor it all the time and have no issues. This is not the case. You have to be smart with it. Obviously don't tow heavy or at all with the highest tune. Don't be going 50 while you just hit lock up and floor it to pass people.
Ooops i just saw you have a G56 LOL i had the mini max on my 2012 and i ran on the 175 all the time with a 6 inch lift and 35's. Lasted all the way up until i sold the truck and 35k miles with no issues still LOL. It's all in how you drive my friend. Sounds like you drive like i do so you shouldn't have an issue at all.
Re: Reliability questions
X2 with @Dude's Diesel Performance, you're clutch be fine with the 30 hp tune as long as you drive respectfully. Personally, mine would slip on the 90 hp tune at about quarter to half throttle with an LUK clutch. It holds tight with the dual disc setup.

I like doing Lyft, it's a nice change in pace from my real job. People are always in shock when I show up in my 2500 LOL. Depending on how busy your town is and how many other Lyft drivers there are, you can make a decent amount of money. I think you have to have a 2007+ vehicle to qualify. But they approved me in about a week!
Do you have any downpipe back kits with the muffler? Do any kits come where you can swap from straight pipe to muffler pretty easy? i've always liked it loud haha

That's awesome! Sounds like my truck wouldn't qualify LOL it's a 2006 but who knows they may let it slide haha That's awesome! I'm glad you love it! A little extra money is always nice to have in your back pocket.
Either the downpipe back or turbo kits sometimes have an extra piece depending on what size bed ya have and you can always utilize that to swap out. I have seen someone install a ball valve coming down from it bahahah that was a facebook video by the way but did make me think about it LOL!!!!
