89 Cummins swap won’t start.
Having issues starting my engine.
I have an 89 Cummins engine that I’m doing a swap on.
I didn’t have any issues with it running before the upgrade.
I did the following upgrades:
- THD Injectors
- Fuel Pin
- Spring
- Turbo
- Inter-cooler
It turns over but won’t turn on.
No smoke while starting.
Any ideas where to start?

No.
Looks like I will be removing the pump to fix my screw up!

Just waiting on my driveshaft to get done.

Got it moving on it’s own.
I noticed that the positive wire coming from the alternator is getting extremely hot and almost to the point of melting.
What could this issue be?

Maybe voltage regulator?
Thinking of going with 1 wire setup.

New issue.
Fuel leak.
That back housing is the source. I can see the bubbles.
Do I need to remove the pump?
