There’s a product missing from the test (ArchOil) but Hot Shot Secret did a pretty good overall job.
Y’all tell me your thoughts.

I've always loved this guys videos, he does great real world testing IMO. We're a proud vendor of Hot Shot's Secret as well :)
Re: Good Info on Additives
I'm one diesel owner who uses diesel additives year round - By doing so It just lets my Mind sleep at night.
These winter additives need to be added before the cold weather hits - to assure a proper mixture through out the fuel system and I thought I read some where stating its best to mix them before the temp dropped below 40*F (for best blending purposes) I guess.
Here in my neck of the woods - we are basically only given 1 type of diesel @ the pump & I'm not taking any chances!
I pride myself on not being a follower & have researched products that others don't use & never talk about.
Thus the reason I settled on running Schaeffers SoyShield in the summer months & Schaeffers (Winterized) Diesel Treat or (Arctic Shield) during the winter months!
At least with adding SoyShield every fill - Its puts the quality of diesel I add very close to that of Premium Diesel - which we can't get around here.
"Is it a waste of $$$" Many say Yes! I'm one who don't care what the masses think! These same fine folks probably waste 5X more $$$ just on bad habits compared to my messily fuel additive fetish!
SyN Disclaimer: Just MY simple minded - logical Opinion
Once again: Good Luck I hope ya find the right additive for your needs (Can't Go Wrong with HSS) & Happy Holidays to All!

I do the same. I have used Howe’s on my last truck and the first 8500k of this truck. I am going to be switching to Hot shot after watching this video. I wish he would do one with Hot shot vs ArchOil. I have read good things on this forum about ArchOil but after this video I am definitely getting rid of my Howe’s.

I’m curious to see what other people think.
I have been doing a lot of research since purchasing this new truck and I am curious to see if anyone else has solid data.
I am torn between stanadyne performance, hot shot everyday treatment, and ArchOil.
ArchOil and hot shot don’t anything about anti-gel.
Thoughts?

In South Tx, fuel freezing and/or gelling, doesn't really pose a problem. Think I'm gonna try 2 stroke oil. Much cheaper and appears to work better than some of the products I've used. https://Mopar1973man.com/cummins/art...sel-fuel-r357/

Everything I read was these new trucks don’t like the two stroke.
I also read if you still have a DPF intact hen you will have more Regen cycles.
I have no idea if these are accurate.

I'd say that's very accurate, for trucks with DPF intact. Very good point. For those without DPF, it's about engine life.
