Turbo Feedline Oring
Hello all, been reading here for years; I finally signed up for an account today.
The o'ring on the turbo side of the turbo feed line has been leaking for a while, and I can't seem to find any info on a replacement o ring.
Do I need anything special for the heat generated by the turbo, or will a regular oil-resistant o ring work?
The one I'm referring to is in the groove on the top side (bigger end) of this part.

I haven't had this problem, but if we think about it, the engine's oil temperature should be the standing temp here.
If the oil were hotter at this point, the oil would be cooked rather quickly, so the oil-resistant oil ring should handle a max of approx 250F.

I was not able to find an answer.
I ordered the last fitting they had in stock that was listed in the original post.
I got it a few days after ordering but have yet to put it in.
I rebuilt the turbo 2 years ago by hand, and the uninstall and installation by myself with no cherry picker to help still haunts me.
I'm honestly afraid to break the fitting off in the turbo and have to pull it again.
I say this because.
It's not an o-ring that's seated in that fitting.
It is more of a flat rubber washer that is attached to that fitting.
It does not come out.

I replaced it with a 2.5mm x 11mm o-ring Buna-N.
I'll let you know if it leaks and the other o-ring on the bottom looks like a 2.5mm x 12mm.
I did not replace that one.
When I took off the hose, I snapped the aluminum supply hose off the top.
Then removed the two fittings which were fused.
I had to torch the fittings to get them apart.
The connector in the turbo came out without issue.

Thanks for the reply.
I haven't actually replaced the fitting into the turbo yet.
I'm too worried about it snapping off and having to clean out and rebuild the turbo again.
The rebuild isn't the issue at all, and it's the getting it in and out by myself that sucks.
So I've been soaking it in various oils, hoping when I get the ***** to do it, it will come out without issue.
