BD Exhaust Brake and Tuning Issue
I am having an issue with my new and current setup on my truck. I want to see if anyone else has had the same issue or has been able
to successfully run this setup on their 4th gen truck.
2014 2500 68RFE 92000 miles and my current engine modifications are.
1. Removed VGT turbo – It was beginning to fail.
2. Installed BD Iron Horn S363SXE/80 0.91AR with Manifold
3. BD Exhaust brake w/ECU control.
4. The truck is fully Deleted
5. MM3 with Anarchy tuning.
The issue I am having is the BD exhaust brake will not function with factory exhaust brake button in the truck. I contacted BD on the issue
and after going over everything with them. They are telling me it has to do with the tuning of the truck.
The only thing I have not done yet per their instructions is to run a scan tool and Check the VGT vane position. This will be done soon, I had
to schedule it with a shop.
I contacted Anarchy and had my tuning updated for the new turbo. Their stance is nothing is wrong with the tuning and nothing can be done
to make BD’s exhaust brake work on my truck.
I beyond frustrated at this point any help in fixing the issue would be great.

Well I don't know about Anarchy.
I do know DRD does something with their tuning when someone removes factory turbo VGT and installs a inline exhaust brake.

It might be a good idea to re-trace the wiring as well as any fuses involved just to make sure the proper items are getting power to them.
The little things like that always end up giving me a tough time.
