Peace of mind isn’t always pretty, but I swear on my life if I have to rip this interior out again, I’m getting a Ford.

I wish I had known they redesigned them when mine was torn down.
I would have replaced them as well.

Has anybody sprayed on sound deadener before?
I ordered some through Second Skin, and I’d imagine it’s similar to spraying undercoating.
I only have a small air compressor here in Hawaii and wondered what kind of air compressor would be sufficient. If my little battery-operated compressor is too small, I’d be more than happy to sell it and upgrade!
It’s a Dewalt that operates off of what looks like an electric lawnmower battery.
Suggestions?
I don’t have tons of room or care to ship a six-foot-tall tank back to the mainland when I move, just FYI.

Just a quick update.
We had/are having torrential downpours again.
Seals work perfectly!
Not a drop of water or any condensation in the cab.
I also started rerouting my cables to my speaker system to free up space along with the driver-side floor panels.
The carpet arrives on the 9th (Previously 6th), and the sound deadening spray comes Tuesday.
The spray gun arrived yesterday.
I'll post pics and updates of what I do to the interior.
Due to the amount of content available for that project, I probably won't do a detailed write-up.
I will have pictures and maybe some video of the spray on the deadener.

I’m going to be real with all of you.
This whole process is pissing me off.
I haven’t even posted about half the other issues and dislikes I’ve had with this truck.
The more it sits there like this, the more I’m just thinking about getting rid of it.
Edit: This is for the new interior I had shipped.

Dont let it get you down Mortifera.
My Longhorn 3500 spends 95% of its life sitting in my backyard rotting under a damp tarp.

^^^ Long story for a different thread.
Please stay motivated and do keep us posted on your progress!

Appreciate the kind words.
I contacted the sender, and they were already tracking the issue.
They said they are sending a new one, and it will be a couple of weeks until it arrives.
I'm trying to figure out what else I may want to do to this thing while it’s opened up.

Ok, Mopar Parts Inc in Myrtle Beach finally received the box from UPS.
Said the box was probably the reason it was shipped back because apparently, the carpet fell out of it.
It’s still in the plastic, and the carpet was fine.
They put it in a brand new box and ship it out immediately.
Already have a new tracking number.
I can’t wait till this is over with.
On another note, all the resources I used to do my speaker system came in very handy for this project.
I used the same YouTube videos to lay the sound mat.
Spray going in soon.
I borrowed an air compressor from a guy at work and will start spraying and brushing second skin sound deadening this weekend.
