Hi All! New to the group!

Hey All,

Just wanted to say 'hey' to everyone out here. I'm a long-time user of vehicle forums, but this is my first time owning a Cummins diesel, so wanted to get in on the discussions over here. I like to do a lot of my own work on my vehicles, and the communities out here help make that possible.

This year, I purchased my first diesel truck, a 2012 Ram 2500 Outdoorsman, dark blue. Had some miles on it, but I can't afford a new $60,000 truck, so here I am :-)

The reason we bought it is to pull our travel trailer. Our other vehicles weren't up to the task... spooky to pull because of short wheelbase. So, in comes the Ram truck.

Long story short, my wife and I couldn't be happier with this truck. It pulls the trailer like a toy, is super stable doing so, and is just fun to drive. There are a few quirks here and there, which I'm sure the folks out here will have advice in solving, but nothing horrible.

Thanks for hosting such a cool forum! I look forward to being a part of it, and hopefully over time, I will have something to contribute. For now, a diesel newb.
