New here and New to diesels
Hello all,
Bought a 2014 3500 C&C about 7 months ago. Every time I hitch up the camper to tow I like the truck more and more. Truck is a beast, but the CEL and DEF messages are always coming on. Tired of it. My local dealer has been working with me but has been unable to solve the problem. I would like to fix it. Like I said, New to diesels, but not to engines. I'm a big fan of Mazdas rotary's and have done extensive work and modifications to them. A lot of the time, I've even built my own parts because what I wanted to do was not available to purchase.
Plan on keeping this truck for awhile. Goal is to eliminate the lights on the dash and get rid of the vinyl seat in the front and replace with something nicer (wife's request).

Welcome friend. [emoji106][emoji106]
Sounds like it’s time to get a tuner and make all those issues go away!

That's what I'm thinking. Don't know where to start...
Re: New here and New to diesels
I know I need a tuner that unlocks ecm, a new exhaust piece unique to the cab & chassis to replace all the cans from the downpipe back, and an egr bypass.
Most importantly, instructions and quality parts. What am I missing?
I would like a stock tune or a stock tune and a fuel mileage tune (trucks a daily driver and gets 12mpg).
