DRD Tuned G56

Been doing a lot of camping/towing here lately and my G56 tuned truck doesn't build boost that fast.

Kinda lagging an bit smoky when getting on the throttle.

When the turbo does light it pulls pretty decently.

Anyway to get the boost coming on sooner in the lower rpm range?

Yes but not cheap provided your current turbo is working correctly.

G56 trucks respond well with a compound turbo setup.

I tried all kinds of things on my 17 truck to get rid of lag between gear changes and a compound turbo setup is the only thing that works good.

Maybe look into a Pusher compound kit if wish to keep the stock turbo in place.

Now if your current turbo is not doing what is supposed to do, then that needs addressing first.

Thanks for the info.

I know stock turbo is working properly, just at 17,8xx miles.

Just happened to drive my buddies tuned an deleted auto an just seems to pull better down low.

Guess I will have to look into a pusher setup or maybe going back with a lighter smaller tire when the time comes.
