Re: Cab Swap Vs. Body Work?
Sorry for the long wait, I will have to get some pictures of the rust/rot on the cab mounts.
I am not to worried about the doors anymore, I just need new rear doors really.
The fronts are good inside just need lower skin.
The truck is currently at a shop getting the ball joints and hubs replaced.
The kid I picked this truck up from is lucky he isn't hurt or worse, the tierod end going to the pitman arm was completely loose and blown out.
The nut was hand tight!!
Same with the steering dampener, I think I got a bit screwed on this trade but I think the truck is still worth it if I put the time and money into it.
I already replaced all the tierods and adjustment sleeves, but I dont have the time to do the rest my self.
Hence the shop LOL.
Plus this kid lied right to my face, said he hit a bump and the speedometer stopped working, well I found both abs fuses pulled.
So who knows how many miles it actually has.
Sorry I went a bit off topic, just a bit frustrated.

Re: Cab Swap Vs. Body Work?
I am not quite sure how to do pictures on here, LOL, but these are what I got for now.
It looks pretty good, mainly cause I put white tape over the rust on the doors, hahaha.
