Re: Install tuner WITHOUT applying tune...
I have the Lite package but can’t remember what menu options were available prior to activating the tunes.
I do remember that the annoying splash screen would require me to “Agree” every time I started the truck.
One thing I do know is that requirement goes away after tunes are flashed.
I am sure someone can answer your question about the TPMS menu.

You checked that with the truck not running, correct?

That's what I am wondering... I am always having to hit that annoying "I agree" button each time it turns on. On the home screen it tells me that updates will be applied once I tune the truck (or something along that line). I am *thinking* that once the tune gets put in the ECM, it will open up all the menus. I know I am blazing a trail that not many people do. My buddy can't hang my exhaust until sometime next week.

Yes Sir.
I shut off the truck and tested it again.
Like I was saying to Bob, I am guessing that once the tune gets flashed, it will apply all the options to change everything else.
My first time doing this though......

I had the express 30hp for a short time and I could change the tire size.

Ok. Well that's good to hear because that's something else I need to do as well, LOL! I am just waiting on some bay time so I can hang the exhaust once I flash the tune. My buddies shop is packed right now. Hopefully next week I will be able to confirm my suspicions about all the options. I will post up what happens just so if anyone else is doing the same thing as me, they will know what to expect.

I am also thinking the same thing.
Seems like I remember more menus populated after I flashed my ECM. [emoji1303]

Should work without running “tunes”
Couldn’t get it to work YouTube
“MM3 Tuner TPMS Adjustment”
Re: Install tuner WITHOUT applying tune...
Yes, I have watched that video that Ray did a few times. You're right and I didn't notice that he had the truck running. Either way, the only options I have on my tuner right now under ECM is DTC and ECM. I even went into the ECM menu to make sure the file was there and it is my name. When I booted it up for the first time it did a firmware update like I have seen in Rays videos so I think I have the latest and greatest.
This is my first tuner so I am still new to all of this. I hate computers..... LOL!
Re: Install tuner WITHOUT applying tune...
Were you able to get it resolved with the TPM light and such?
