Evic Swap from Gas?

DISCLAIMER - Don't flame me on this one please. :confused:

I would like to upgrade my cluster on the tradesman.

The few 7'' diesel evic clusters I have found are at least 2x the price of the gas models.

I am deleted so don't care about DEF gauge.

I am wondering if anyone has successfully swapped the gas model into their trucks?

Having trans, voltage, and oil on the cluster will open up some more gauges on my MM3.

Yes I know I can see these parameters in the 3'' EVIC but it does not save and I don't want to scroll/toggle through every time I restart the truck.

The 7'' looks way nicer also.

Any helps is appreciated!

To my knowledge the gas cluster works perfectly fine you’ll just have double the Tach that’s needed.

Red line will show 6 or 7k rpm vs 4 yea.

Been browsing here for awhile and about to order a DRD MM3 package.

But any who I've got a evic from a gas truck I got for 100 bucks on it seems its gonna cost about 150 for me to get it programmed.

But before I do that does the turbo boost gauge and all that is normally on the diesel evic still work if I switch to a evic from a gasoline truck.

Few updates.

Been watching LKQ online like a hawk for a premium diesel evic.

Got one snagged up today for 180 bucks and an extra 12 bucks for a 12-month warranty.

But for anyone looking to upgrade EVIC or their radio with a different OEM one this dude is the place to go to.

Programming of my new EVIC is only 75 bucks plus shipping back to me.

And once I see if the new one has scratches or not he can so replace the lenses on the EVIC.

And surprisingly the one I ordered for 186 bucks off LKQ was in excellent condition.

Yea they pop up on LKQ online website.

But the premium diesel ones sell quickly.

I’m running the gas evic in my diesel and every works fine including the temp in the def gauge position.
